Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate catering chef to join our team. We are a well-established, full-service catering company with a proven track record of catering for events of various sizes and complexities, including high-profile corporate gatherings, municipal projects, and large-scale public sector events. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and hospitality, This role requires excellent culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for helping to create memorable dining experiences for our clients while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications. Manage food service operations during food preparation, and at events, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of meals. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and serving areas before, during, and after events.

Skills

Positive attitude Previous experience in restaurant or kitchen environments is mandatory Strong attention to detail Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and clients Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Independent abilities to motivate and guide kitchen staff effectively. Experience in managing catering events or similar hospitality roles. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 44 per week
