Summary

The Procurement Organization manages all aspects of sourcing & procurement within Bell Canada. The Procurement Department\xe2\x80\x99s mission is to create value through its strategic role of providing best-in-class sourcing solutions while improving Bell Canada\xe2\x80\x99s EBITDA through cost reductions. This is achieved through cost reductions.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a candidate to join Bell Canada\xe2\x80\x99s Procurement and Value Creation Organization as Category Manager.

  • Lead the contingent workforce (contractor) program and recommend, develop, coordinate and implement best practice processes and procedures to improve the program.
  • Identify leading practices from inside and outside of Bell for implementation/adoption
  • Manage portfolio of commercial contracts and vendor relationships within the contingent workforce program
  • Negotiate agreements and other legal documents, setting the terms and conditions for the provision of services
  • Collaborate with internal clients to better serve their needs and identify opportunities for improvements
  • Lead sourcing initiatives utilizing Bell systems in the distribution and management of RFI, RFQ and RFP
  • Prepare/present presentation material for review at the senior management level
  • Implement and manage standard supplier performance management programs
  • Manage, perform quality control, and generate reports on spending data and other key indicators as required
Critical Qualifications
  • University degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of general procurement / supply chain experience / Contingent Program Lead
  • Superior communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong listening and negotiation skills
  • Ability to formulate negotiating strategies
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to create unique solutions to manage and/or analyze data
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
  • Excellent prioritization skills
  • Results orientation; resilience in face of complexity

  • Demonstrated and tenacious problem solver
  • Good business judgement and acumen
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with spend analysis techniques
  • Understanding and expertise in data manipulation, sorting and analysis tools (Excel, SAP, Fieldglass Ivalua, etc.) is an asset
  • Knowledge of Bell\xe2\x80\x99s various business units

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
