Details:
Saturday Evening Supper 4 hours- hours vary, prepare for 6 pm or later
Sunday (all day)- Breakfast, Lunch, Supper - 12 hours- scheduled at 10 am- 2 pm- 6 pm
Rate of Pay:
$22.00/per hour
Duties:
Preparing and cooking meals according to recipes or special requests and as much as possible to Canada's Food Guide
Inspecting food items for freshness and quality, discarding anything that does not meet standards.
Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, including cleaning utensils, equipment, and workstations.
Following food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure proper food handling.
Assisting in menu planning and developing new recipes as needed.
These responsibilities ensure the efficient operation of the kitchen and the satisfaction of participants, staff and adhere to Ministry standards.
Qualifications:
Experience operating an industrial or community kitchen
2-3 years experience working in a restaurant environment preferred but willing to consider alternative experience.
Clear CPIC, Upon hire
Food Handler's Safety Certification
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and Prevention, upon hire
