Job Description

We are looking to hire cashiers/food assemblers for our Takeout location in East York. This person will also have the opportunity to work alongside the team on our food truck for festivals and special events if needed during the summer season. Please only apply if you are serious and dedicated to working. 1 year customer service experience in the food/restaurant industry is a must. Please do not apply if you have no experience in this industry. This position requires someone who is able to interact with the customers in a positive manner, providing exceptional service and work well as a team. • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of work and service areas
• Greet customers in a friendly manner
• Take orders and package orders for the customers
• Assemble orders to menu specifications
• Handle cash and understand POS
• Perform other duties as directed or assigned

Requirements:

• Previous cash/customer service skills required (willing to train the right candidate)
• QSR experience
• Food Assembly an asset

• Must be team players, and the ability to understand and follow directions
• Must be able to work in a fast pace environment
• Must be able to stand for long period of time
• Fluent in English and have excellent communication skills
• Have open availability, including AM/PM on weekdays, weekends and holidays;
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Able to work in all weather type settings
