We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Your responsibilities will include handling transactions, assisting customers with inquiries, and promoting products effectively. A passion for customer service and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this position.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products. Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision. Provide product demonstrations and answer customer questions regarding features and benefits. Maintain an organized and clean checkout area. Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking shelves as needed. Address customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.

Skills

Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory. Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. Proficiency in using POS systems for transaction processing. Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries via phone. Ability to conduct engaging product demos to showcase offerings effectively. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Knowledge of technical sales can be beneficial in assisting customers with specialized products.
