We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will handle transactions accurately while promoting our products and services, contributing to the overall success of our retail environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide tailored assistance. Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately using cash handling procedures. Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the customer experience. Engage with customers to promote products, upsell when appropriate, and answer any inquiries. Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies while ensuring customer satisfaction. Collaborate with team members to meet daily sales goals and maintain store standards. Utilize effective phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries. Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting inventory checks as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred. Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions. Basic math skills for accurate cash management and transaction processing. Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers quickly. Familiarity with cashiering systems or point-of-sale (POS) technology is advantageous.
