Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and the ability to handle transactions efficiently. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our company, responsible for providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. This role requires strong communication skills, basic math abilities, and a knack for upselling products.

Duties

Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting with inquiries Conduct product demos and provide information on technology sales when necessary Maintain an organized and clean checkout area Upsell products to enhance the customer experience and increase sales Assist with merchandising tasks to ensure product displays are appealing Manage time effectively to minimize wait times for customers Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual candidates are a plus Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing Familiarity with technology sales and technical sales is advantageous Ability to perform product demonstrations effectively Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly work environment Strong time management abilities to handle peak hours efficiently A commitment to providing outstanding customer service at all times

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
