Job Summary:

As a Service Counter Attendant & Kitchen Assistant at our QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) specializing in fried chicken, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service at the front counter while also supporting kitchen operations. This dual role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high food quality and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and process transactions efficiently using our POS system. Assist in preparing and cooking food items, including frying chicken, following standardized recipes and procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment, workstations, and storage areas. Ensure food safety by adhering to proper food handling and hygiene guidelines. Package food orders correctly and ensure they meet quality standards before serving to customers. Assist in receiving and stocking inventory, rotating stock, and maintaining adequate supplies. Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order preparation. Communicate effectively with service counter staff to coordinate orders and ensure accurate delivery to customers. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously. Uphold company policies and procedures regarding food safety, cleanliness, and customer service.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the food service industry. Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and cooking techniques. Ability to follow recipes, portion control guidelines, and food safety regulations. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Attention to detail in order taking, food preparation, and presentation. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using POS systems or similar technology. Food Handler's Permit or equivalent certification (can be obtained upon hiring). Multilingual abilities, especially proficiency in languages spoken in the local community. Prior experience in food preparation or kitchen assistant roles.

Additional Information:

This position requires a hands-on approach to both customer service and kitchen duties, ensuring a seamless operation that prioritizes food quality and customer satisfaction. Training will be provided to familiarize you with our menu, procedures, and safety protocols.
