Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Stocker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining product displays. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for all customers.

Responsibilities

Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Stock shelves and maintain product displays to ensure they are organized and visually appealing. Conduct product demonstrations to promote new items and encourage sales. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness in the checkout area and throughout the store. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating effective phone etiquette. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in a cashier or retail position is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English; multilingual abilities are a plus. Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered in-store.

Pay: From $15.80 per hour
