Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier/Stocker to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service while efficiently managing inventory and ensuring that the store is well-stocked and organized. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly environment, and the ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced retail setting.

Duties

Operate cash registers and process customer transactions accurately. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and product selections. Manage inventory control through effective stocking, organizing, and merchandising of products. Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and tracking. Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling of products. Perform heavy lifting as required to move stock and maintain store displays. Maintain cleanliness in the store, including aisles, checkout areas, and stockrooms. Assist with shipping and receiving duties as necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations within the grocery store environment. Engage in produce maintenance, ensuring freshness and quality of items on display.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Familiarity with inventory management systems and practices. Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification may be required). Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for effective stocking and merchandising. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus. Capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) as part of daily responsibilities. Experience in cashiering, packaging, cleaning, and maintenance tasks is desirable. Knowledge of retail math for accurate transaction processing is beneficial. Pay: $16.10-$17.00 per hour
