If so, Nutters Kamloops may be the place for you! We are looking for a casual / part time cashier and grocery clerk to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Promote and upsell products or services to customers
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations
- Assist with inventory management, facing and restocking shelves as needed

Requirements:

- Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, or a related field is preferred

- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating transactions.

-Computer skills are essential

-Attention to detail - catch discrepancies at till and notify lead or management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle customer inquiries with professionalism

- Knowledge of nutrition, specialty diets, and/or produce is an asset.

-Previous experience in grocery, merchandising or social media are also an asset.

We are looking for someone who is available to start right away and who can work a variety of shifts including morning, afternoon, evenings, weekends, and stats. This is a part time casual position.
