Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier/Stocker to join our team. This dual role involves providing excellent customer service at the checkout while also managing inventory and stocking shelves. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are well-organized, accessible, and presented attractively to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities



Operate cash registers, process transactions, and handle customer inquiries with professionalism. Manage inventory levels through effective inventory control practices, including using RF scanners for tracking. Stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring that products are neatly arranged and easily accessible to customers. Assist in loading and unloading products from delivery trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including aisles, checkout areas, and storage spaces. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient shipping and receiving processes. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer needs and resolving issues promptly. Perform basic maintenance tasks to keep the store environment safe and welcoming.

Skills



Strong organizational skills to manage inventory effectively and maintain a clean work environment. Proficient in retail math for accurate transaction processing and inventory management. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store operations is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when stocking shelves or handling inventory. Familiarity with merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility and sales potential. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customer bases. Previous warehouse experience is beneficial for understanding shipping & receiving processes. Pay: $16.10 per hour
