Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in customer service. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage transactions efficiently while providing excellent service to our customers. The Cashier will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately, and assisting with various tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the point-of-sale system. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers. Assist in training new cashiers and provide supervisory support when necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely while adhering to company policies. Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including basic troubleshooting of equipment.

Requirements

Proven experience in a cashier or customer service role; supervisory experience is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in manufacturing processes preferred. Basic understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is advantageous. Knowledge of electrical systems and welding techniques is beneficial. Ability to read and interpret schematics related to facilities maintenance tasks. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on teamwork and collaboration. Attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Pay: $17.85-$22.07 per hour
