Job Description


We are passionate about bringing cool, authentic restaurants to airports that represent a taste of place. The Cashroom Attendant will be held responsible for all receiving, distribution, and maintenance of cash on the property.

  • Responsible for the management of the property safe including petty cash, cash drawers, and any/all monies to be deposited in the bank
  • Must conduct and be responsible for cash audits
  • Must follow all property procedures involving any cash entering or leaving the cash room
  • Must prepare bank deposits, change orders, and reconcile cash daily from prior days business
  • Must notify GM and/or Unit controller immediately about any cash discrepancies
  • Must follow and prepare all required paperwork for financial reporting as dictated by UC
  • Must follow all safety and security procedures as dictated by SSP company guidelines and airport guidelines about handling, transporting, and storing cash
  • Keep Cashroom area clean and organized
  • Maintain supply levels for all necessary items
  • Prepare, order, and receive change orders from the bank in accordance with property standards
  • Any and all other duties as assigned by Cashroom Supervisor or Controller
  • Minimum 2 years cash handling experience
  • Bank Teller experience preferred
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Confidentiality
  • Problem solving, organizational skills, and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Food service/restaurant experience (preferred)
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or working towards degree (preferred)
  • Ability to effectively manage conflict and ensure successful outcomes
  • Ability to deal with high stressful situations
  • Exercise sound judgment and decision making
  • Flexible schedule as business demands. Regular office attendance required
