Job Description

We are looking to bring on a Cash Application Specialist to our team based in Mississauga, Ontario. In this role, you will be part of the service industry, focusing on the processing and maintenance of customer payments and credit records. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process incoming customer payments
• Apply cash to the appropriate general ledger accounts
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all transactions and customer credit records
• Address customer inquiries related to their accounts and payments
• Discuss reasons for late payments with customers and establish payment plans
• Monitor customer accounts and execute appropriate actions as necessary
• Maintain proficiency in using accounting software systems and Microsoft Excel
• Stay familiar with Accounts Receivable (AR) and Billing Functions
• Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools effectively to manage tasks
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems to ensure effective and accurate financial management.
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for streamlined business processes.
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) to manage and process payments.
• Knowledge of Billing Functions to ensure accurate invoicing and record keeping.
• Experience in Cash Applications for accurate and timely payment processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.
