CASA Classroom Teacher
High Level, Alberta
The CASA Classroom Program is a treatment-oriented program that is a collaboration
between Alberta Health Services, CASA, and school divisions. FVSD is hiring a teacher to
join a multidisciplinary team that will support the mental health needs of grades 5-9
students in a school environment.
The Position:
Experience working with students with diagnosed mental health or social-emotional challenges Experience in diverse classrooms with a wide range of learning and regulation needs Training in mental health literacy and trauma-informed teaching practices Nonviolent Crisis Intervention training Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction The classroom will be located in
