Construction Site Superintendent / Carpenter Job Posting

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Construction Site Superintendent with strong hands-on carpentry skills. This dual-role position requires overseeing day?to?day site operations while performing carpentry and interior construction tasks. You will be responsible for supervising workers and sub?trades, maintaining safety standards, ensuring quality workmanship, and supporting project execution across multiple sites.

Compensation

Starting wage: $30/hour (full?time, contract - first 30 days) Month 2: $35/hour based on performance Month 3: $40/hour based on performance Full gas allowance or company vehicle provided

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate workers and sub?trades Maintain site safety and ensure compliance with regulations Keep worksites clean and organized Oversee purchasing, delivery, and material handling Perform framing, drywall, mudding, painting, and minor repairs Install and repair T?bar ceiling systems Ensure high?quality construction standards Assist with carpentry tasks as required Conduct daily site visits across the GTA Use phone apps to document work, complete reports, and track progress Manage multiple job sites simultaneously Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and trades

Qualifications

5+ years of hands?on construction experience Experience in commercial construction and interior fit?outs Ability to read and interpret construction drawings (critical) Experience coordinating city inspections Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Valid G?class driver's license with a clean driving record Strong problem?solving skills and ability to think on your feet Safety certifications such as Working at Heights or WHMIS (asset) Must possess personal PPE Must own and be experienced with power tools
Schedule & Work Conditions

Full?time: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Overtime may be required based on project needs Daily travel to job sites across the GTA One assistant provided on an as?needed basis
