Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Team Leader to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with expertise in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. This role requires effective leadership skills to manage a team, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise construction teams on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements. Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship. Ensure all safety protocols are followed in accordance with OSHA regulations. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of safety and excellence on the job site. Prepare reports on project progress, challenges, and solutions for stakeholders.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction management with a strong understanding of project scheduling and budgeting. Solid background in construction site experience with hands-on knowledge of various trades. Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively. Excellent skills in blueprint reading, construction estimating, quality control processes, and contract management. Ability to operate an ohmmeter and other relevant tools as necessary for quality assurance checks. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
