About us Restcon Restoration & Construction Ltd. is a small business in Charlottetown, PE C1A 5G9. We are a professional restoration services company serving all of PEI. Our work environment includes:

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of carpentry work
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Build and install structures such as walls, floors, roofs, windows, and doors
- Install cabinets, countertops, molding, trim, and other finish work
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or structures
- Select and order materials needed for projects
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:

• carpentry: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Charlottetown, PE C1A 5G9 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Charlottetown, PE C1A 5G9: Relocate before starting work (required)
