The Shop BH is a locally owned and operated renovation, carpentry and maintenance company. We specialize in single family and multi unit renovations and finish carpentry.

Summary

As a Carpenter Assistant, you will be integral to supporting various construction and renovation projects, reporting directly to the project manager. Your role will encompass essential tasks such as flooring installation, carpentry, and construction painting, ensuring high-quality workmanship. The organization expects you to leverage your core skills in renovation and construction, while also utilizing premium skills in project coordination and time management. Your relevant skills will enhance team efficiency and contribute to the successful completion of projects, making you a vital part of our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Utilize time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with team members to facilitate communication and streamline project workflows.
• Support the preparation and organization of project materials and resources as needed.
• Monitor progress and report any issues or delays to project supervisors.

Qualifications

• Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Experience in construction and renovation projects
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with various stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety standards
• Problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during projects
• Taping experience
• Finish Carpentry experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
