Carpenter / Handyman
Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated carpenter / carpenter assistant / handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform various small construction & renovation projects, contributing to the successful completion of residential and commercial renovation / repair projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clients with high quality construction related repairs
- Assist in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Perform basic carpentry tasks such as framing and finishing
- Perform the installation of doors & windows, vinyl siding & soffits
- Perform roofing repairs
- Help with basic plumbing repairs and upgrades
- Caulk joints and seams for a finished look
## Requirements
- Prior experience in carpentry or construction is a plus
- Ability to plumb and level structures accurately
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work
- Experience installing and finishing drywall to a professional finish
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
