Role Overview



Are you a skilled Renovation specialist, handyman or carpenter assistant looking for steady work with a reputable company? Join our team specializing in residential renovations, including

basements, kitchens, bathrooms, and additions.

This is a 3-month contract position that has the possibility to become full-time.

Duties:



Provide support to the Site Supervisor through diligent quality workmanship of various skilled hands-on construction tasks that include carpentry, trim work, and finish repairs as requested, in order to drive a quality build at all times.

Ensure the highest level of quality standards are met daily through the execution and completion of assigned tasks.

Effectively communicate daily.

Be a leader by ensuring quality workmanship standards are being met and kept top of mind at all times through effective communication with a positive attitude. Lead by example.

Ensure compliance with health and safety by all on site external partner and internal staff is being always met, playing an active role in keeping a safe job site.

Travel to multiple job sites will be required throughout the Hamilton Area when required.

Demonstrate accountability and dependability by ensuring any/all company provided tools or resources are cared for daily, maintained, in safe operational condition and securely stored and locked away each day.

Identify and assess construction deficiencies and perform repairs as required in a timely and professional manner with respect for quality and workmanship

Complete Quality Assurance (QA) Inspections of homes during construction, when directed by the Site Supervisor in order to drive quality of workmanship.

Ensure home is always left in a clean manor, inside and outside

Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring:



3+ years of experience

in residential renovations or new home construction.

Experience in demolition, framing, drywall, mudding, trim and millwork.

A strong understanding of client relations.

The ability to work efficiently and deliver high-quality results.

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

A clean criminal record.

Compensation: A competitive salary to commensurate with experience

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
