Job Description

We are recruiting a Personal Support Worker for our male employer with dementia who requires assistance with Activities of Daily Living. He enjoys walks and playing board games.

Start Date:

As soon as possible

Location:

Victoria (Near James Bay Community Centre)

Shifts & Hours of Work:

Two days a week: 9:00am to 12:30pm 3:30pm to 7:00pm

Compensation:

$25.00 per hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

Daily personal care such as showering, dressing, toileting, going for walks Meal preparation Laundry and light housekeeping Occasional assistance to stand when sitting down (minimal lifting required) Accompanying with client going for walks Driving to and from Adult Day Program but can take Handy Dart if needed YouTube gentle exercises and board games

Required Qualifications:

Dementia care experience required Driver's License is an asset but not required Patience and kindness are important Must be fully vaccinated Non-smoker Mandarin/Cantonese speaking is required at basic level
