Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Personal Support Worker to assist our Quadriplegic male employer

with all activities of daily living.

He describes himself as quiet, comedic, and easygoing. Additionally, he enjoys music, maintaining a routine, and keeping things tidy.

Location:

Vancouver (Near Renfrew Community Park)

Compensation:

$24.00 per hour

Shift & Hours:

Saturday and Wednesday : 8 AM to 1 PM (start time flexible) Sunday and Tuesday: 8 AM to 4 PM (exact times negotiable)

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

All aspects of personal care (including but not limited to): upper body bed bath and hair wash, dressing assistance, peri care, catheter change and cleaning of overnight bag Meal and drink preparation and feeding Range of motion exercises (10 to 12 mins) Transfer out of bed using Pivot transfer and repositioning in chair to ensure no creases in clothing Light housekeeping duties Medication administration

Requirements:

Some experience or education in Caregiving is required Willingness to learn Punctual, reliable and committed MUST HAVE UP TO DATE VACCINATIONS (4 COVID minimum AND FLU)
