Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Personal Support Worker for a male employer with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) to assist with all activities of daily living. He likes to play video games, watch wrestling and movies.

Surrey (near Chimney Hill Elementary)

Shifts & Hours of Work:

Mondays and Wednesdays 8AM to either 2, 3, or 4PM

Compensation:

$20.00 per hour

Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

Assist with Bi-PAP machine All activities of daily living Light housekeeping Meal preparation or ordering food Cut up his food Drive the employer's accessible van

Required Qualifications:

Willing to undergo Criminal Record Check At least 4 doses of Covid-19 Vaccine Up to date with Flu-Vaccine Must provide negative TB Skin Test Must have Class 5 Driver's License Must have HCA Certification Must have First Aid Certificate Strong Command of English CPR Certificate (preferred) Food Safe (preferred)
