Job Description

We are currently recruiting a Personal Support Worker to assist our female employer with Bulbar Onset ALS,

to provide personal care and assistance with all activities of daily living.

Location:

Coquitlam (near Medowbrook Park)

Available Shifts:

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday: 8am to 4pm must be able to work all 3 shifts

Compensation:

$23 to $25 per hour

Responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:

Assist with personal hygiene, including toileting (including peri care) and bed baths Assistance with changing incontinence products PEG tube feeding Transfers using a Hoyer Lift Assistance with C-Pap machine and Nebulizer Medication Administration (crushing medications for individual)

Requirements:

HCA/RCA or nursing background Two years caregiving experience is required Experience working with individuals with ALS Experience with a Hoyer Lift Experience with PEG Tube Feeding Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 (including boosters) and have a current (in the last 12 months) Flu vaccination due to the client's condition
