As the Acute Care Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for direction, team leadership and organization over the activities of the ER/OR and MDR Departments, as well as supporting the vision, mission, and business plan of Alberta Health Services. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will make unit-level decisions and have direct leadership responsibility for the effective deployment of resources contributing to the achievement of patient- and family-centred care. As the Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating change management, promoting team development, teamwork, and coordinating staffing and clinical work. You will maintain an effective framework for the patient care operations to effectively utilize information and facilitate the delivery of quality assurance. Leveraging creative approaches to patient care, you will foster a culture of high-quality, collaborative care within the community.
