We are seeking a skilled and versatile cook who can perform both Pre Cook and End Wok Cook (using Cantonese Wok) duties in a busy Cantonese kitchen.
The ideal candidate will handle ingredien preparation, assist wok operations and, manage the finishing stages of dishes to ensure quality and consistency.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and standards
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment
Support cooking processes by assisting chefs during meal preparation
Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed
Ensure all food items are prepared efficiently to meet service times
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Experience
Minium 3 years experience in a Chinese kitchen (Cantonese cuisine preferred)
Skilled in both food preparation and wok techniques
Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and food handling procedures is a plus
Ability to communicate in English and/or Cantonese
Familiarity with the food industry standards for meal preparation and food safety practices
Reliable, efficient, and able to multitask under pressure

Full-Time, permanent position
Approx. 50 hrs per week (Tuesday to Saturday: 11am-9pm)
Days off: Sundays and Mondays
