Job Description

A Canning Operator/Cellarperson ensures production/packaging runs effectively and efficiently. Some duties of the role include canning/kegging beer and seltzer products, cleaning tanks, transferring and carbing products, warehouse tasks, and other duties as required.

Additional Duties and Requirements:

Operating can filler & and label machine. Ensuring product quality by following proper canning practices. Understanding the fundamentals of brewery CIPing (Clean in Place) Proper handling of chemicals required for sanitation and cleaning of kegs, tanks and other equipment as necessary. Understanding and practicing all internal safety standards. Inventory management. Prepping orders and loading/unloading shipments. Delivering product to customers and taproom as needed. Be able to lift 50-75lbs. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Ability to effectively listen and follow instructions. Be early, flexible and available for scheduling Maintain up-to-date technical training Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Attention to detail and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Passion for Craft Beer with a focus on the local community Good trouble shooting skills, and strong mechanical/electrical aptitude Ability to work both independently and within a team with minimal supervision Enjoys working under pressure and at a fast pace Must have a valid drivers license Forklift license and experience would be considered an asset.

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
