Cannabis Stop Inc is Shelburne's locally owned and operated cannabis retail store. We are looking to hire a store manager for our location at 171 Main Street West. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Oversee all aspects of the retail store's operations, including inventory management, product displays, and cleanliness. Ensure compliance with all provincial and municipal regulations related to cannabis sales, safety, and security. Responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent customer service, supporting with training the staff on customer service standards. assign tasks, and manage staff performance and development. Manage assign tasks ,providing feedback and coaching for employees and ensure that they are up to date with internal systems. Maintains a positive attitude that creates a positive work environment. Maintains technical industry knowledge and product knowledge, trains staff on products in store Keep up-to-date with changes in cannabis regulations and adjust store operations accordingly. Monitor inventory levels, track product expiry dates, and manage product restocking. Assist with POS transactions and end of day cash reconciliation and report any discrepancies. Enforce all company policies and programs (workplace hygiene), ensuring compliance. Adhere to all legislative requirements of cannabis retailers, including federal, provincial and municipal legislation. Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and customer-focused service.

Requirements

Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check and be 19+ Available to work various shifts not limited to days, evenings, weekdays, weekends, some holidays. Valid CannSell certification or ability to obtain certification. The ability to develop a positive, in-depth understanding of cannabis 2 years plus experience in a similar scope of role successfully leading a team Detail-oriented and able to handle cash, POS (Greenline) register and all sales transactions Time management and organizational skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently/unsupervised Exemplary communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills Ability to learn and train and educate others in processes, procedures, and products Meet the physical demands of a retail environment including transporting up to 25lb boxes. Technologically proficient in use with tablets, MS Office, other operating systems including troubleshooting. Previous retail management experience, preferably in the cannabis industry. In-depth knowledge of cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, and their effects.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
