We have successfully built an amazing brand name in the vaping industry and recently added Cannabis to some of our larger retail centers creating a unique 1-STOP Shopping experience for customers. We currently own and operate 11 stores in Western Canada with Brandon, Manitoba opening mid May, 2025.

Our organization has fantastic retention of our employees because we value them and strive to advance them in emerging skills. Our store managers range in age from 22-34 years old-we do not define our staff's knowledge, abilities or contribution to our team based upon their age.

Retail Manager for Vape & Cannabis

We offer above average compensation, bonus plan and flexibility. Looking for candidates with previous experience managing a busy vape store or cannabis store, inventory management and sales forecasting.

Overall Summary of Responsibilities

Customer Service

-be a brand ambassador in the community for our organization and build customer retention for our store in Brandon.

We are the #1 Platinum Consumer Award Winner voted by customers for 2023 and again in 2024 for our Alberta stores.This is because we provide fantastic customer service and support. Therefore, your role must continue to foster that courteous, prompt and excellent customer service going forward. Explain product features and warranty agreements. Provide customers with information on daily deals and promotions. Handle customer questions, complaints, and issues to resolve any issues of customers.

Supervision of Staff

-with support from corporate HR and our GM-to ensure that our employees concerns, and issues are addressed satisfactory and in a timely manner. Ensure any vacant shifts are covered by staff or yourself. All scheduling is done by corporate and time tracking recorded in When I Work payroll Time Tracking System.

Inventory Management

-Balance all incoming purchase orders, receive shipments, assist in ordering products weekly with our GM; assist in inventory counts with our GM. Ensure our product display cabinets are attractive, neat and well presented. Advice our GM of products you feel will do well in the Yorkton area to ensure our store remains competitive. This is critical for our Cannabis tracking and reporting.

Website & Social Media Postings

-Liaison with our corporate office to ensure all the products on Brandon's website are updated in a timing fashion and accurately. Learn about SEO and AI so you become a rock star on our websites.

Management Team

-participate in the weekly management meetings conducted by our CEO and GM. Provide insight into local market area; provide insight into product issues/successes; engage in the exchange of ideas with other store managers to promote new product launches successfully; assist in product testing and provide your feedback to management.

Your Previous Work Experience:

Prior experience managing a vape or Cannabis retail store (2 year minimum). You must love retail & People. Our staff does not work on commission but sales targets define bonuses.

Prior experience managing and training staff in the vape/cannabis industry. Retaining and growing your staff is critical in this role.

Ability to understand and learn technical product knowledge with an excellent memory. We have a massive inventory that is continuously changing.

Impeccable manners, grooming and interactive people skills-we have a dress code that is business casual but there are no sweatshirts or t-shirts unless they are our swag.

Excellent personal organization and time management skills-you must be good with computers, POS systems, Microsoft Office skills, alarm systems. Be comfortable with monitoring systems all day.

Ability to work well with others and successfully communicate your thoughts and ideas

We have a busy store but not unmanageable for one person to work alone.

Available Evenings and Weekends-you will work alternating weekends

Sales & Cash Register Experience

Must Pass a Police Background Check & Smart Choices - Must be Over the Age of 21 to Apply

Compensation Package:

Base Salary starts @ $24/hour plus bonus for an experienced vape/cannabis store manager. Salary is negotiable as we are looking for the right person vs the salary target.

Overtime is paid after 8-hour shift

8 hour shifts most days

On-site parking, fantastic bright store to work in that has plenty of sun all day. Our windows allow you to see out but not see in-so it is very cheerful.
