Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and customer-oriented sales associate to join our team at Reserved Cannabis retail store located in Waterloo, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the cannabis industry and experience working in a fast-paced retail environment. As a Cannabis Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the store. Responsibilities:

• Greeting and engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Providing product information and education to customers about various cannabis strains, products, and accessories
• Assisting customers with their purchases, including suggesting products and offering guidance on consumption methods
• Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves and maintaining displays
• Operating the point-of-sale system and handling cash transactions
• Adhering to all relevant regulations and policies related to the sale and distribution of cannabis products
• Following all safety and security protocols to ensure a safe and secure work environment
• Participating in regular training sessions to stay up-to-date on new products and industry developments

Requirements:

• Must be at least 19 years of age (as per Ontario regulations)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge and passion for the cannabis industry
• Prior experience in a fast-paced retail environment preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Comfortable with basic math and cash handling procedures
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
• We require 19+ years of age as per Ontario law and candidates should already have obtained their Cannsell certificate and a criminal background check will be required prior to hiring process. Being a part of the Reserved team requires adherence to brand and as such candidates should always been dressed in a professional, clean and hygienic manner.
