Sessions Cannabis is seeking applicants for the role of Budtender at our store in Peterborough, Ontario. We are looking for dedicated individuals who understand the nuances of cannabis and are eager to enter this burgeoning industry. Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Greet customers throughout the day in a friendly and welcoming manner \xc2\xb7 Confidently represent the Sessions brand and ideals \xc2\xb7 Educate customers on cannabis products and how to safely consume cannabis \xc2\xb7 Facilitate the sale of regulated cannabis by discussing cannabis products and engaging customers in a variety of cannabis accessories \xc2\xb7 Maintain up to date knowledge of new trends and products in the industry \xc2\xb7 Effectively utilize a cannabis compliant POS system and cash register \xc2\xb7 Organize, receive and categorize cannabis products and accessories \xc2\xb7 Ensure the cleanliness of the store is maintained on a daily basis \xc2\xb7 Check identification of customers who appear to be 35 years of age or under \xc2\xb7 Abide by all company policies and procedures Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 3-5 years of experience in a retail setting is preferred \xc2\xb7 Valid Cannsell Cannabis Retail Certification \xc2\xb7 A clean criminal background check from local authorities \xc2\xb7 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment \xc2\xb7 Must be a team player \xc2\xb7 Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills \xc2\xb7 Availability for shift work any time between 8:30am to 11:30pm, Monday to Sunday \xc2\xb7 Basic skills in math and proficiency as a cashier \xc2\xb7 Extensive knowledge of cannabis products and accessories is an asset \xc2\xb7 Personal connection to the community is an asset \xc2\xb7 Must be 19 years of age or older For more information about Sessions Cannabis, check out our website at www.sessions.ca.
