Job Description

We're looking for a Recruiter based out of the Toronto area to support our hiring in operations, corporate functions, and technology. You will own the recruitment process from the time a role is approved until the new Lightspeeder has started, ensuring a great candidate experience while being a strategic partner to the business.

What you'll be doing:

• Manage the full recruitment cycle for roles from kick off to offer acceptance all the while ensuring the highest standards and a seamless and positive experience for both your internal stakeholder and the candidate.
• Responsible for engaging with and finding top talent (e.g. attend recruitment events, job boards, strategic sourcing initiatives, creating relationships with local schools, etc.)
• Act as an advocate and coach Hiring Managers on recruitment best practices.
• Contribute to the ongoing development and execution of Lightspeed's overall sourcing, recruitment hiring plan and objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong and effective business relationships with hiring managers and senior management.
• Act as a Lightspeed brand ambassador, promoting it as the premier destination for desired candidates.

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

• Proven experience hiring for Corporate Functions and Go-to-Market positions at all levels
• Ability to communicate both in written and oral form in French and English fluently.
• Strong and active talent network with a proven reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation.
• Extensive experience with talent acquisition with the ability to forge dynamic relationships with business leaders and candidates.
• Ability to continually seek new sourcing options and creative approaches to attracting candidates.
• Successful experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches and stakeholder relationships.
• An authentic commitment to diversity and inclusion hiring practices.
• Passion and dedication to establishing an exceptional candidate experience.
• Proven ability to source, sell and close candidates.
