Le Responsable de Camp pour le projet Emplois d'ete Canada (EEC) a l'Association Musulmane du Canada (MAC) est charge de superviser les operations quotidiennes et les activites du camp d'ete. Ce role exige de solides competences en leadership, organisation et communication pour garantir une experience de camp positive, engageante et securisee pour tous les participants. Le Responsable de Camp fournit egalement un soutien administratif cle et veille a ce que les programmes soient mis en oeuvre de maniere fluide et en alignement avec les valeurs de MAC.

Responsabilites Principales

Effectuer des taches administratives generales : rediger et reviser des documents, gerer la correspondance, maintenir les dossiers (numeriques et papier) et effectuer des photocopies. Planifier, coordonner et executer les activites et les horaires quotidiens du camp. Assurer une communication claire avec les parents et repondre a leurs questions ou preoccupations pour maintenir un haut niveau de service a la clientele. Creer des communications pour le camp, y compris des bulletins d'information, des depliants et d'autres supports promotionnels. Gerer les processus d'inscription des campeurs et tenir des registres precis de presence et des frais. Superviser la gestion des fournitures et veiller a ce que tout le materiel necessaire soit approvisionne a temps. Superviser et soutenir les campeurs tout au long des activites du camp, en garantissant leur securite et leur bien-etre. Diriger et motiver le personnel et les benevoles du camp pour assurer une mise en oeuvre reussie des programmes. Surveiller les incidents, remplir des rapports d'incidents et en informer le gestionnaire du camp si necessaire. Participer activement aux operations quotidiennes et etre un point de contact cle pour le personnel et les parents.

Job Overview

The Camp Manager for the Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) Project at the Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and activities of the summer camp. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to ensure a positive, engaging, and safe camp experience for all participants. The Camp Leader also provides key administrative support and ensures programs are delivered smoothly and in alignment with MAC's values.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general administrative tasks: draft and revise documents, manage correspondence, maintain files (digital and paper), and make photocopies Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of camp activities and daily schedules Ensure clear communication with parents and respond to inquiries or concerns to maintain a high standard of customer service Create camp communications including newsletters, flyers, and other promotional materials Manage camper registration processes and maintain accurate attendance and fee tracking records Oversee supply management and ensure all required materials are procured on time Supervise and support campers throughout all camp activities, ensuring their safety and well-being Lead and motivate camp staff and volunteers to ensure successful program delivery Monitor incidents, complete incident reports, and report to the camp manager as needed Participate actively in daily operations and be a key point of contact for staff and parents
