The Role




Position Overview



Our Youth Sport Camp is designed for children in Grades 1-6 to stay active, make friends, and build new skills in a safe and supportive environment. We are seeking enthusiastic leaders to facilitate age-appropriate games, introduce a variety of sports, and promote teamwork, confidence, and fun.


Responsibilities




Lead and supervise campers through daily activities, drills, and games Create a positive and inclusive environment for all participants Encourage skill development, coordination, and confidence through play Ensure camper safety and support program guidelines

Qualifications




Experience working with children in a sport, recreation, or camp setting Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to create a fun, engaging, and supportive atmosphere

Job Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following necessary skills and attributes to be successful in this role:




Previous experience working with children in sport, recreation, or camp settings Knowledge of a variety of sports and willingness to learn new activities Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to create a positive, fun, and inclusive environment Current First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before camp starts) Availability to work weekdays during camp sessions Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to build strong relationships across the organization; and A high level of integrity, professionalism and accountability.
