We are currently looking for a Camp Counsellor to join our team of committed professionals. This full-time summer contract position within the Association is housed at the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario's John Island Camp location in Spanish, Ontario.
Under the leadership of the Counselling Manager, the Camp Counsellor is responsible for the overall health, safety and well-being of the campers. With a camper-oriented mindset, Camp Counsellors support campers through their camp experience. First Year Camp Counsellors are expected to take on a learner's role by gaining valuable knowledge from their peers as well as share their knowledge.
