Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with experience in the food industry. As a Cake Decorator, you will play a vital role in creating beautiful and delicious cakes that delight our customers.

Responsibilities

Decorate cakes and other baked goods according to customer specifications and design requests. Utilize various decorating techniques, including piping, fondant application, and airbrushing. Prepare and bake cakes, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and quality control. Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating area and kitchen. Package finished products for display or delivery while ensuring presentation quality. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients to understand their needs and preferences.

Requirements

Previous experience in cake decorating or a related role within the food industry is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and safety standards. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and baking techniques. Strong attention to detail with an artistic approach to cake design. Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and customer requests.
