Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and decorating cakes, with a strong understanding of food safety and preparation. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing cakes that meet customer specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

Decorate cakes using various techniques, including piping, fondant application, and airbrushing. Collaborate with customers to design custom cake orders based on their preferences and special occasions. Prepare and bake cake layers and other components as needed. Ensure all food safety standards are followed during the preparation and decoration process. Package finished cakes for delivery or display in the store. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area to comply with health regulations. Assist in inventory management by monitoring supplies and placing orders as necessary.

Skills

Proficiency in cake decorating techniques and creativity in design. Strong knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry. Experience in baking, food preparation, and working in a kitchen environment. Excellent customer service skills to effectively interact with clients regarding their cake orders. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with restaurant operations is a plus.
Working hours are between 7am and 7pm
