Reporting to the Food & Beverage Management team, the Cafe Lounge Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing all aspects of Barrique & Java . Areas of responsibility will include meeting the requirements of cafe and lounge service, bar service and staff support.

Duties for this position will include, but are not limited to:



Train and supervise Barrique and Java staff, providing guidance and support as needed Ensure coordination and collaboration between both morning and evening teams for consistency in service Ensure effective communication by attending meetings as required and holding staff meetings on a regular basis to impart information Prepare and monitor schedules, ensuring that staffing levels are correct and to agreed standards while keeping labor costs in line Maintain high standards of morale and personal appearance of all staff Promptly attend and respond to guest complaints or feedback Ensure that reports and administration requirements are submitted in a timely manner Set up cafe/lounge with necessary items and supplies before service begins Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages Coordinate service to ensure a smooth and efficient flow while maintaining a high level of guest service Adhere to and assist in the development of food and beverage recipes and procedures Maintain knowledge of menu offerings in order to answer questions and provide excellent service Ensure that back-of-house areas are clean and organized at all times Ensure regular reviews of all required stock and operating equipment at specified intervals Ensure that operating equipment is used properly and not abused, e.g. proper cloths used for cleaning Ensure that inventory is accurately entered, counted regularly and discrepancies are promptly investigated and reported Ensure all liquor laws and regulations are understood, implemented, and followed by the team at all times Ensure fair and equitable discipline, in compliance with regulations Ensure regular reviews of all required stock and operating equipment at specified intervals Work very closely with the Restaurant Managers to ensure the teams are functioning effectively and cohesively Any other duties as required/assigned

Qualifications:



Minimum 3 years food & beverage experience Current Serving It Right Certificate Up-to-date Food Safe Level 1 Minimum 1-2 years management experience Strong knowledge of coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic/ alcoholic beverage service Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment Excellent interpersonal skills and work ethic Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, mid-shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required Reliable transportation essential
