About Knight & Rose Cafe

Knight & Rose Cafe is a premium lounge-style cafe in the heart of Streetsville, known for its calm atmosphere, high-quality beverages, and attentive service. We focus on creating a refined yet welcoming experience for every guest.

We are currently looking for a

confident, reliable Server

who can manage operations independently during their shift.

Role Overview

This position requires a high level of responsibility. The successful candidate will be trusted to run the cafe independently, maintain service standards, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

This role is best suited for someone with

prior hospitality experience

who is comfortable working without direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

Greet guests warmly and professionally Take orders accurately using the POS system Prepare and serve beverages promptly Answer menu questions and make recommendations Resolve guest concerns calmly and professionally Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lounge at all times

Beverage Preparation

Prepare coffees, teas, specialty drinks, and basic mocktails (training provided) Follow presentation and quality standards Keep preparation and service areas clean and stocked

Shift Operations

Open and/or close the cafe independently Handle cash and card transactions accurately Complete end-of-shift cleaning tasks Make and serve orders, including drinks, deserts, shisha and more. Restock supplies and report inventory needs Ensure cleanliness of all guest areas, counters, and washrooms

Independent Work

Manage time and priorities during busy periods Work confidently without on-site supervision Communicate issues or concerns to management promptly

Qualifications & Requirements

Previous cafe, restaurant, or hospitality experience

required

Comfortable opening and closing the cafe independently Strong communication and customer service skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Available for

weekday and evening shifts

Able to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks
