Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Assist with food preparation tasks in accordance with health and safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing any guest concerns. Support the kitchen staff by ensuring timely delivery of food items to tables. Promote menu items through upselling techniques to enhance guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining spaces and service counters. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transaction processing. Familiarity with food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
