Scope of Work The CAD Designer is responsible for conceptualizing information attained at the site visit. They work closely with the templator and sales representatives to create stunning project drawings. They also work with the CNC Machine operators to dictate how the project is to be cut and assembled. CAD Designers learn how to work within limitations of different stone surfaces. They communicate with clients to design cut plans and picture previews of the final product. Candidates should be comfortable communicating with private customers, designers and contractors. This is a very detail oriented position that requires candidates to meet tight deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Creates non-routine and complex assignments from verbal instructions and under minimal supervision
• Works closely with Sales associates, project managers and CNC Operators on a daily basis
• Reviews CAD drawings to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards
• Demonstrates ability to update and improve existing CAD standards
• Must have extensive interpersonal skills, and integrity
• Proficient in English, must work well in a team environment

Required Qualifications

• Diploma/ Certificate in Architectural Technology, Interior Design (or equivalent)
• Background knowledge in interior design, architecture or construction is an asset.
• Software: AutoCAD, SketchUp
• Knowledge of project management and construction
