Who we are:

We are a small, family-run door shop based in Kelowna, BC. Primarily, we work with builders who prioritize quality and attention to detail. We work hard and have high standards, but we are also a fun team and like to keep the atmosphere light while working.

The ideal candidate is responsible for ensuring that the quality standards are met and the job is done in a safe and timely manner. This candidate will also need to ensure that no task is beneath them and be able to pivot when necessary. We are looking for long-term employees who want to grow with the company,

Attractive Hours: 7:00 - 4:00 Monday to Thursday and 7:00 - 1:30 Friday (Start time may vary depending on summer temperatures).

Wage is negotiable depending on previous experience.

Duties:

Prepare packages for shipment. Machine doors to required specifications. Assemble door frames. Use a forklift to unload and load material. Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently.

Job Requirements:

Steel-toed work boots are required Be able to do physical work for an 8-hour shift and lift 50 lbs. Meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality. Work with limited supervision Detail oriented Punctual with excellent attendance Hold a Valid BC Driver License Class 5

Experience:

2 years of industry experience in Fine Woodworking, Joinery or Cabinetry. Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment. Work with others in a flexible team environment to achieve greater efficiency and productivity. Understanding of the manufacturing process. Experienced in safe working practices.
