About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated
Cabinet Maker Helper
to join our team! The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation, assembly, and installation of custom cabinets and furniture. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has basic woodworking knowledge, and is eager to learn and grow in the trade.Key Responsibilities:
Assist cabinet makers in cutting, sanding, assembling, and finishing wood components Help set up and maintain woodworking machinery and tools Prepare materials and organize the workspace for production Load and unload materials, and assist with deliveries and installations as needed Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized Follow instructions carefully and support team members to ensure projects are completed on time
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a woodworking or cabinet-making environment is an asset Basic knowledge of woodworking tools, materials, and safety procedures Good attention to detail and willingness to learn Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team Good communication and organizational skills
Requirements:
Must be
legally eligible to work in Canada
(mandatory)Secondary School
education (preferred)Valid driver's license
