Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves crafting high-quality cabinets and custom woodwork, ensuring precision and attention to detail in every project. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional results.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to create custom cabinets. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery for cabinet construction. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials according to specifications. Perform cabinet installation at client locations, ensuring proper fit and finish. Engage in restoration projects to refurbish existing cabinetry. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects, including flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, and electrical work as needed. Conduct construction painting and caulking for completed installations. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics. Strong woodworking skills with experience in carpentry and cabinet installation. Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of CNC machinery operation for precise manufacturing processes. Experience in assembly techniques for cabinetry and related structures. Maintenance Person experience is beneficial for multi-trade projects. Requirements

Must have valid driver's licence. Must have own vehicle. Must have own tools. Minimum 2-3 years experience in cabinetmaking and installing.
