Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker and Installer to join our team, responsible for crafting high-quality cabinets and custom woodwork. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and a commitment to producing exceptional products that meet our clients' specifications.

Duties

Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements Construct cabinets using various woodworking techniques and tools Perform cabinet installation at client locations, ensuring proper fit and finish Engage in restoration projects to refurbish existing cabinetry Utilize CNC machinery for precision cutting and shaping of materials Execute construction tasks including flooring installation, tile laying, and masonry work as needed Apply construction painting techniques for finishing touches on cabinetry Collaborate with team members on larger projects requiring heavy lifting and assembly Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use

Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics Strong woodworking skills with experience in carpentry and cabinet installation Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery used in cabinet making Knowledge of construction estimating processes for project planning Experience in restoration techniques for cabinetry and furniture Ability to perform masonry work, including concrete forming and rebar installation Competence in flooring installation, tile laying, caulking, plumbing, electrical work, siding, roofing, and maintenance person tasks is advantageous Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
