We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Finisher/ Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying finishes to cabinets and other wood products, ensuring high-quality standards and attention to detail. This role requires a strong understanding of various finishing techniques and the ability to work with different materials. The Cabinet Finisher/Installer will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetics and durability of our products.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and applying primers as needed.
Apply stains, paints, varnishes, or other finishes to cabinets and wood products using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards.
Collaborate with team members to fabricate custom cabinetry according to blueprints and specifications.
Installation of cabinets and other related components as required.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Perform heavy lifting when necessary during the finishing process or installation tasks.
Experience
Proven experience in cabinet finishing or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with blueprint reading and construction estimating is a plus.
Experience in flooring installation, drywall work, siding, masonry, or general construction is advantageous.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship skills are essential.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during the workday.
