Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom cabinet woodworking, with experience in finishing cabinets to a high standard. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Cabinet Finisher will be responsible for preparing, and finishing, cabinets while ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the process.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding, cleaning, and applying stains or paints as needed. Operate various power tools and hand tools to achieve desired finishes on cabinetry. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate cabinet assembly and installation. Collaborate with other team members. Perform heavy lifting as required during finishing of large pieces. Maintain a clean workspace and adhere to company policies regarding equipment care and maintenance. Open to working overtime as needed to meet deadlines. Must have valid drivers license and means of transportation.

Skills

Skilled in spray and wipe with stain, spray shade stain, shade. Spray seal coat and topcoat with lacquer paint. Spray paint sealer and spray topcoat paint. Knowledge of glazing techniques. Ability and knowledge to mix own paints and lacquers. Knowledge of safety protocols and heavy lifting techniques. Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on quality craftsmanship in woodworking. Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
