Your Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Understands and works within the Marwood operational system and procedures
  • Direct the activities of the Operational/Advance Teams and Gate 2 (F0337) assigned cross functional Team Members.
  • Be part of a single point contact team with Marwood Sales for all Customers within respective Business Unit.
  • Be an active participant with other Marwood Divisional Team Members in all estimating & quoting activity for respective Business Unit/Customer, including providing strategic level and lesson learned input on the program/product.
  • Be an active participant with other Marwood Divisional Team Members in building and presenting all Business Unit/Customer technical reviews.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating Marwood Form 0306 (Marwood MCM) post Gate 2
  • Be an active participant in all Phase 1 Gate 2 activity (F0337)
  • Be a champion of all Phase 3 Gate 5 activity (F0337)
  • Responsible for working with other Marwood Divisional Team Members in gathering and providing all necessary Commercial impact information to Marwood Sales for any Program/Product changes post Gate 2. Marwood Sales to complete final review and either send back to the Business Unit Manager for further clarification or submit to the Business Unit/Customer.
  • Oversees continuous improvement and IATF 16949 standards for conformance and accuracy.
  • Develop and communicate a vision, establishing strategies, and expectation levels for supporting operations.
  • Attract new customers, promote business, support day-to-day activities with supporting manufacturing operations and perform other tasks that would increase success of the business unit.
  • Set up and manage customer\'s profile and develop potential customers.
  • Creative product development utilizing existing process capabilities as well as assessing new product/process offerings that may justify further capital investment.
  • Revitalize relationships with current and past Marwood customers.
  • Evaluate and manage ECN Cost Summary Binders and associated initial cost package information for Marwood Executive & Costing Team Review. Focus on providing actual data with a goal of achieving a minimum gross margin standard across the program.
  • Maintain/update all program matrixes, and report to management of current status and or effectiveness via weekly APQP meetings.
  • Champion and/or active participant of all internal and customer driven PCR\'s & ECR\'s associated with any program/product connected to assigned Business Unit/Customer.
  • Have/hold internal and customer driven engineering, or program driven meetings
  • Active participant in vetting RFQ/SOR for new quotes
  • Support/drive or initiate improvement plans and/or kaizen activities for new/existing product or processes.
  • Review and approve Marwood Standard Documents where assigned.
  • Review and approve Marwood Purchase Orders where assigned.
  • Work collaboratively with other Marwood Divisional Team Members on achieving full PPAP status at the external customer while ensuring a robust & capable process is provided to the Plant/Division Managers.
  • Work collaboratively with other Marwood Divisional Team Members to ensure all applicable pre-production requests are completed in an accurate and timely manner via the Plex (ERP) Request Management System module.
  • Active participant and/or champion of Marwood Plex (ERP) and/or SharePoint Hub application initiatives as assigned.
  • Champion any Miscellaneous, Prototype, Trial, ECR, and/or Tooling Accounting Jobs in Plex (ERP) as assigned.
  • Active participant and/or champion of Customer Portal application/modules as assigned.
  • Provide cross functional support as assigned.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Support Business Development Team on providing any Supply Chain & Procurement Division relevant information for Customer Technical Reviews.
  • All other relevant duties as assigned.
Skills /Capabilities:
  • Proven ability to manage and deal with customer(s) including negotiations, problem resolution, relationship building.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
Key Requirements:
  • University or College Graduate in Business Management, Program Management, and/or Engineering
  • 5 - 10 years plus Program Management and/or Manufacturing Experience (preferably in the automotive parts manufacturing sector)
Additional Technical and Professional Requirements:
  • High level of proficiency with ERP System (Marwood uses Plex)
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
